What the subscription covers
Your family's private encrypted cloud — the storage that backs up the archive, keeps every device in step and sends the newsletters, with 50 GB included. For most families that is years of photos.

If you cancel
Cancel anytime. The time you've already paid for runs to its end. Nothing is deleted because you cancelled, and the copies on your family's own devices keep working. If a subscription lapses, nothing is deleted for a long notice window — a phone-only family's originals are kept for a further ~104 days, long enough to notice, install the free desktop companion and bring the whole archive home as ordinary files.
If you reach the cap
At the cap, nothing is deleted and nothing stops: new originals wait, and back up the moment there's room. Originals are never degraded. The 250 GB plan exists for families who reach 50 GB and want to stay phone-only.
